Leslie Rogers is a family medicine nurse practitioner, who is a native of Louisville Kentucky. Rogers said she chose to enter family practice as a nurse practitioner because of the opportunities to provide higher levels of care while practicing independently in a rural based community. Leslie is also board-certified in family medicine and American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), certified as a Master Injector.

She jointly opened Zebulon Primary Care, PLLC in 2002, a rural family medicine practice in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky. She served as Vice-President of the clinic until 2008. She then joined Pikeville Medical Center opening the first regional outpatient Coumadin and Heart Failure Clinic in the Appalachian Mountains of Kentucky. This clinic offered state of the art care for Acute & Chronic Heart Failure management including Impedance Cardiography. The clinic grew and expanded forming a liaison with Jewish Rudd Heart & Lung Center in Louisville KY to offer the first eastern Kentucky satellite LVAD clinic. During this time Leslie also served as Host on Pike TV for Cardiac related Health Talk, a show educating the public about the most common cardiac disorders. Leslie states, “My vision was to inspire hope, and contribute to the health and well-being of each patient by providing the best care through expanded local outpatient services, that at one time required extensive travel to seek this type of care.”

Practicing there until 2013, Leslie relocated to Lexington, Kentucky and joined the Center for Anti-Aging, focusing on both holistic & conventional medicine modalities. In 2015 Leslie Rogers expanded her career focus and joined an ensemble of exceptional group of providers, medical assistants, and administrators at UKHealthCare’s Plastic Surgery Team in the Division of Plastic, Reconstructive, & Cosmetic Surgery. Leslie states, “Working alongside such a dedicated and caring group of individuals to deliver outstanding health care services to the community, is such a blessing in my life.”

As a family nurse practitioner for over 20 years, she has National Certification by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners in Family Medicine, and Board Certification by the Kentucky Board of Nursing. Leslie received her undergraduate degree, BSN from the University of Louisville in Louisville, KY and her MSN, FNP degree from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. Leslie is ASAPS Certified as an Advanced Injector and formerly a trainer for UKs Chief Plastic Surgery Clinic’s Residency Program. Leslie has also owned her own business, LCM Enterprises, LLC since 2004 providing both residential and commercial properties in Eastern Kentucky. Leslie has been a doTerra Wellness Advocate since 2008, with her mission being to provide natural solutions for you & your loved ones through certified pure therapeutic grade oils (my.doterra.com/leslierogers). She has one elementary age daughter, Juliette and resides in Lexington Kentucky. When she is not in the medical world, she enjoys hiking, camping, boating, traveling, music, playing cards, and spending time with her family & friends.

Leslie formerly supported University of Kentucky with advanced training for resident doctors of plastic surgery, actively contributing to their success. This guides doctors new to plastic surgery to help meet their patients needs.
